Nothing really. Just used to the other stuff. Wrap it wet, pull it tight, and once it dries and cures, it seems to pull a little tighter. I dunno. Just winter getting to me I guess. I haven't pulled it off and redone it, it's as it's going to get.
i have that same wrap on my bub 7 2 into 1.
has been there easily 1.5 or 2 years and still looks good
not quit as bright as yours looks but still looks good
My pipes broke so I had them welded. Then instead of sanding and painting the heat shields that had started to rust I decided to wrap them. I painted the pipe with high temp exhaust paint and wrapped them with DEI Titanium Exhaust Wrap. I like the metallic look wonder how long it will last.
Change the hose clamps out for the DEI stainless zip ties, they look alot better. I have seen some guys use safety wire as well, probably stainless as well. Good job, I like the DEI wrap, how much did you use?

Looks good! If you notice any spots where your boots rub on the wrap, think about putting a small shield there to protect it from tearing.

Thanks I used 2 25'x2" rolls.
The 2 hose clamps at the rear actually hold the muffler can on the pipe
I did my Bub pipes last month, DEI but black. Same story, heat shields were showing their age, the wrap was a quick fix to dress her up.
This was my third set of pipes I had wrapped, and since the first pair I have been doing them wet (with gloves on!!!). The wet seems to stretch a little tighter and shrink on to the pipe a bit when heated up. Wet is also a little more pliable when going around those tight corners.
