Default Wrapped my pipes

My pipes broke so I had them welded. Then instead of sanding and painting the heat shields that had started to rust I decided to wrap them. I painted the pipe with high temp exhaust paint and wrapped them with DEI Titanium Exhaust Wrap. I like the metallic look wonder how long it will last.

I did that same thing with the pipe for my FXR. I really like the look of the pipe with that wrap. Did you wrap it wet or dry?

Dry, DEI states that wetting is unnecessary.

Agreed. Looks good. Also, like the band on your battery cover.

I like that look too. That's what I think I will do once my heat shield really look bad.

I wondered the same thing how the titanium wrap will look with miles on it.

I did the same. Just wondering. I'm not unhappy about how it came out, just wondering in the back of mind of wetting the wrap, would have made a difference.
