Wrapped my pipes
My pipes broke so I had them welded. Then instead of sanding and painting the heat shields that had started to rust I decided to wrap them. I painted the pipe with high temp exhaust paint and wrapped them with DEI Titanium Exhaust Wrap. I like the metallic look wonder how long it will last.

Dry, DEI states that wetting is unnecessary.

I like that look too. That's what I think I will do once my heat shield really look bad.
I wondered the same thing how the titanium wrap will look with miles on it.

I did the same. Just wondering. I'm not unhappy about how it came out, just wondering in the back of mind of wetting the wrap, would have made a difference.
