Picked up my set of Southern-MC wheels when i got off this morning got the front put on and everythings fine, but i bolted the pulley on the rear and its loose. The bolts are torqued to spec, but there is about an 1/8 gap in the pulley and the washer & bolt. Has any one else had this problem with these or any other brand aftermarket wheels? I could go get some shorter bolts just not sure if something else is wrong or if this is common. Suggestions or solutions are appreciated.
I measured both hubs and they seem the same hard getting a tape though the spokes for an accurate measurement.
You can see it here to the left of the pulley. The small silver disk. I also seem to remember it only going one way. It actually fits either way but if its backwards the spacing will be off. So if you don't have it installed then that's your problem. If you do have it installed then try flipping it around.

Spank are those the billet finish wheels or did you PC them? And seriously everyone stop posting pictures of stuff that's gonna make me mortgage the house! Those wheels are beautiful!
Edit: Sorry for the hijack, I wish I could help but I can't. Anywhere to get these wheels at a better price?

Lol. Thanks man. That's how they came. I "think" they are PCed but it could be paint. They are the black contrast cut Poker wheels from Southern and just the inside of the spokes are silver where they are machined. I will say for the price you really cant beat SMW. The two wheels with matching pulley and 3 brake rotors were $1600.00 And the finish and quality is top notch. I never even had them balanced. They run true and I don't have any vibrations or wobble up to around 115mph
those are by far my favourite wheels, been eyeing them up for a couple years... i could have had them this year if my mechanic hadn't talked me into a big-bore!
There's a spacer / adapter that goes between the pulley and the hub. Did you install it?
/\ This /\ I sure hope you didnt torque down the bolts without that spacer, cuz you are probably bottoming out the bolt heads in the wheel if thats what happened.

I dont have an adapter. Is that something that they were suppose to ship? I dug around in all the packing stuff and didnt find anything ill check again when i get home. Im running the stock pulley anyway since i had it pcd black not sure if that makes a difference.

And yes i did torque would that have messed the wheel or threads up

You will find out when you take out the bolts, its a possibility they may gall upon removal. Just for future reference, when bolting together aftermarket stuff either measure the depth of the holes, thickness of parts being bolted together, and bolt lengths prior to assembly or just lightly tighten bolts until seated to assure this doesnt happen.
