Did you make the trip to NO on the Fat Bob? Was interested in how it did on the 200 mike trip.

Yes I did. Had a blast on it. Swapped up my speeds and learned the gearing/rpms. The seat was more comfortable than I thought it would be. It did get a little warm when I ran into a bit of traffic but that is to be expected. Gave it a good brake check when an a$$hole ran a stop sign, so those work. All in all it was a good trip. I mean the bike did good. The new exhaust sounds good without being so loud it's obnoxious or hurts your ears at highway speeds. On the way back just popped in the headphones, turn up the metal, and enjoyed the road.

Thanks a lot man. Freaking love that bike. I'll post more as the new parts arrive. It's not that I don't like the bars. I do like them. With my height and arm length they fit pretty good. Not much fatigue on long trips. Plus like you said the style fits the bike. I'm getting ready to get a bunch of parts blacked out and put on the integrated turn signal mirrors. I wanna take care of the bars at the same time. So gotta decide to keep the chrome, get black drag bars(paint em), or look for another style.

Sweet bike man, congrats… the pipe looks wicked!

When it comes to the mirrors feel free to PM me for info, I did them and it's really not as bad as it seems…

It seems that the y-harness is doing the same thing as this module
http://www.customdynamics.com/eclipze_module.htm
(altho the y-harness is a lot bigger, so there might be more going on)

It might be simpler (yet more costly) to use that.
I just received the Eclipze module as part of my TruWrapz kit so if I get time to play around while installing I'll try both out and see what happens.

Thanks man. I think it sounds awesome. Good good tones to it without being obnoxiously loud. Keep meaning to grab the gopro and post a sound clip. Shot one with the phone, but you know how those are.

I remember everyone hated the new fat bobs lol .. I knew it would only take time.

I just noticed the decals on the wheels as well. It'll look really nice when the chrome disappears.

You made a great choice, all that I've heard says the Fat Bob is the sweet spot in the lineup in non touring bikes.

That's a nice looking bike man! My dealer has the same bike on the showroom. I've rode 'em all & The Fat Bob is the best handling bike HD currently makes hands down.

I thought that the lettering on the wheels is etched into the black finish, not a decal?
