I remember everyone hated the new fat bobs lol .. I knew it would only take time.
I just noticed the decals on the wheels as well. It'll look really nice when the chrome disappears.
I fell in love with it but hated the tan color when I first saw it online. It still had a very Mad Max look to me. Then saw it first hand and well here she is.

They are "laser engraved graphics" according to HD. Definitely not decals.
Yea i used the term decals for lack of a better one and not knowing they were etched. That color is pretty sweet, I think it looks great on the vrods as well.
I just get a kick out of the way the website describes them. All dramatic. The vrods do look nice with that color. They have a good balance of it and the black. The local dealership has an 883 in that color. I thought it looked pretty good on that style bike myself.
Thanks everyone. I freaking love the new fat bob. Figured I'd go ahead and toss up some new pics. Soon as I finish figuring out how to hide the wiring for the new curved side mount plate Ill post that up. Ordered new footpegs from JokerMachine. After putting my foot down in some oil yesterday and having my foot slide off my peg a couple times I decided to get something with some bite. Got my powder coating scheduled for next month to black out a few parts. Went ahead and ordered the flush mount gas caps and integrated mirrors. Now to decide on whether to stick with drag bars or look for something else. Gonna be a busy couple weeks.
Great Bike ! I am looking to get the same one but the Amber Whiskey be calling me
Is that a GPS on your tank? Also can you post a video of your bike fired up? Would love to hear the exhaust. My dealer suggested thunderheader for the extra HP but I think it looks terrible even in black. Did you get any extra HP's out of yours? Thanks

That amber whiskey does look nice. I've seen it a few times and the dealer had it sitting outside the other day. Just glows out in the sun.
I have one crappy phone video up on my Instagram: caseypaul0013. I'll try to post some more today on my way out. That's my powervision. Like an idiot I didn't order the bar mount for it, but I'm changing out the gas caps so I just slapped a piece of 3m tape on that one. Bam instant powervision mount.
Can't speak for hp on the thunder head but I also hate the way it looks. With the stage one I got a few horse, but a proper dyno might get more. The hp will come when I go to stage 3 next year. This year I want to get it looking right. The 103 already has a good but of get up and go.
Great choose! I enjoyed mine till I got cut into a wall. Gonna try the low Rider. Fat Bob was a good ride and stance. Keep the rubber down & your head up!
Awesome! I did the same and traded my '12 R1 in on a '14 Streetbob. It was out of curiosity that I went and took one for a spin. That was all it took. Your ride looks sharp!

Funny. I'm not a big fan of matte paint jobs. And I'm not a big fan of the tan when clear coated. But I think the matte finished tan against the black looks stunning!
