word from the wise, dont pressure wash a vehicle that you care about. Garden hose pressure does just fine with the proper washing techniques. (unless its a sub-1K psi washer)

Really? I've been pressure-washing vehicles (at the two-bit car wash) for about 40 years now (including engine compartments) without any problems, except for that Wolo horn.

Is this another old wives tale, like a Stage 1 must be tuned, and you mustn't "lug" an engine?

I have a set of RIVCO horns in black. Check out my sig for pics. Pretty easy install, bolt right up to where the stock was and pretty loud. They are a little higher pitched then I like but that comes with the small trumpet size (and perhaps I am tainted from my years on a fire truck)

Using Stebel’s compact air horn design, you get 2 great sounding tones in 1 compact tuned horn. At 139dB, you will have a hard time finding a louder horn for the price.

Consumer Reviews
  • “If you’re looking for a loud horn that is easy to install, this is it!” – D. Svach
  • “There was already a hole there, and the supplied bolt fit perfectly.” – Edward C. Evans
  • “I love the reactions of distracted drivers when I get their attention with this.” – Brandon Milam

That's the same thing as the Wolo.

Lugging an engine *IS* extremely bad for it, not a myth.
