Old Tachometer Question Revisited?

I have an 03 FXD Superglide... the one with the ugly speedometer sticking up there all by itself. I got a tachometer with the bracket for it... Tach part number is 67152-99. It came off a 2001 Sporty. It has 3 wires... Orange (power), Black (ground) and Pink (to coil?) ...

Simple question: Will this work on my FXD?

You didn't say what year your FXD is, but it should work. I put an older tach like that on my 07 and it's great. Here is a link that should help, and there is a link in the first post that shows how to do it with lots of pics.
