I don't know about that but I don't think these were hard at all. I heated the rubbers up with the wife's hair dryer and put a squirt of window cleaner in them and yanked them over.

Zip-Zang and yer' done!

Hmmm, I was thinking there was a lot more to it.. just remove the front tire and slide them over the lowers?

Fender and brake caliper have to come off but with everything removed it's a simple matter of pulling them on.

Cool Only if your tubes are turned down smooth.

How do they go over the fender lugs? It's not rocket science to pull the tubes and mount the gaiters from the tube top. That's how I did it.
IMHO.

On the fxd (49mm) no need to pull the tubes, if you remove the fender and brake caliper(s) the gator will slide over the mounting tabs. Spray some silicone spray on them before attempting to slide them on.

Just my opinion, but up until 7 months ago I was riding a 65 Triumph bonnie everyday for 7 years, was parked outside everyday. I could keep it looking great but once the fork rubbers started ripping bike looked like ****, I tried 303, armor all ect but most I got was 18 months and they had to be changed again.
Would I put them on my Harley...no.
But thats just my experience, if you ride everyday be willing to change em out every 12 months.

Gotta agree, lucky to get 24 months out of them b4 they split. But them again, I only pay $9 a set and they can be replaced when I pull the wheels to take to the tire shop so it's no big deal...
