good job Rene
rode down to Losoya Texas on Monday. 50 miles round-trip.
My great grandfather James the blacksmith was living there on the Medina River when he died in 1957.
He was the black sheep of the family, now I am.
Family did not talk about him much, when I would ask about him my grandmother would always say -
"Oh he was no good drinking all the time moved down to the river
whenever he needed money he would just make a few tools and take them up by the side of the road and sell them"
I always thought to myself - what a life, sounds great.
Losoya is so small they don't even have a sign marking it coming in North East South or West. so no picture.

Ride safe to grab letter "N"...

front tire is the one that was wearing thin. Rear tire actually pretty good. Matched set is on the way.

As the Commander II was not available at that time and had to little left for a 4 days trip into Germany I had to change to Dunlop D401.
Had this D401 on the bike until 04-2019 for 22,453 km (~14,000 miles). By then it had still some rubber left for another 2,000km (~1,200 miles).
Had to change it though, because of my planned 6,000 km USA trip May/June 2019 and returned to the Commander II.
Front tire Commander II is on since 8-2016 and has seen about 20.000 km (~12,400 miles) of road and still good for another riding season.
