all types out there. i also hear good things about the leather pro's.
i am running the HD quick detach bags. lots of trips, lots of weather. here's how they held up....so so. three out of four snaps have pulled off. stuff gets wet inside on long wet trips. leather is stretching out a bit and scratching easy. the QD hardware has been good but the nylon grommets are worn out. and they are expensive. around $1200.
if i were to do it over, i would have bought the hd hard bags or leather pro's fxdxt bags
I have Leather Pros and love them! They have 2 handles inside to lock onto the docking hardware. Very strong and well built to hold their shape for years to come! They also lock. You can get them with or without studs. Also available 2 different kinds of straps. I think they are only available in black. A separate purchase of side docking hardware for about $50.
