Fuel Pack? Tuning?
You don't need to do anything if all you're installing is new pipes. Especially with the EPA cams in the new models. Minus 4 degrees of overlap on mine. NOBODY can convince me that a new exhaust system will affect anything in any way, shape or form.
You start messing with the Air Cleaner, that's another ball game.
I looked into it, studied it, thought about it, asked experts (an expert is a drip under pressure) and did some research before I put my Stage I A/C on.
I went with the Dealer download.
I refuse to put a piggy-back system on my Hi-Tech, very complicated and highly advanced Fuel Injection motorcycle. Might as well rip the whole system out and slap an old Keihin carburetor on it, AFAIC. About as good.
First off, if I wanted to go fast on two wheels, I'd buy a cheap motorcycle and a big helmet. You can put $10k in your bike and still get your *** torn off by a 600cc Honda. What's the point? Those rice-burners might laugh so hard at you that they miss a gear.... You could have a chance that way. Otherwise, no.
If you're bound and determined to be the fastest Harley in the group, do some studying, look into what you want.... Cams, A/C, exhaust and make it all work together, then either get Harley to tune it with their Super Tuner or an Indy with a TTS. Although I have yet find a TTS down here. But that's down here.
It will be expensive but it's the only smart way to roll, IMO.
I, too, hate being held hostage by my short & curlies to Harley. But sometimes, you gotta grab your ankles and grit your teeth.
Just my $.02
It's your bike -- Enjoy it.
My pic will be up as soon as I finish my handle bars and controls and I get the OL to upload a pic from her 'smart' phone.
Ain't nothing smart about them, IMO.

Had problem with first FP3 I bought. Worked. Than stopped. No communication with phone. After chatting with fuel moot and v&h find out android is default on fuelpack. The iPhone detector or whatever stopped finding my iPhone. V&h sent a replacement. And it works fine. Till I got the new one I was able to use the first one but with a neighbors android phone
