Default Modified my se sp baffles today

Been waiting for my cycle shack baffles for a week. Work was slow so I decided to pull the baffles .Most of my tools are at work ( Auto tech) and I figured the baffles would fight me coming out.Got the slide hammer and vise grips on it .Soaked it down with PB Blaster and went to town. They put up a fight but finally came out. When I saw how small the three rows of holes where ( 1/4") I decided to open up the existing holes to 1/2" and add one more row. Pulled the baffle wrap out in order to get it back on the baffle. It stayed in the pipe and there is no way you would get the baffle back in with the wrap in the pipe. It was tougher going back in than coming out. When I put the cycle shacks in I will use my air hammer and a hub tammer cup just small than the baffle sleeve. I had to really hammer on it to get it in this time around. The sound is deeper and throaty. But not that much louder. It does sound more like a harley now. Took some pics but need to figure out how to post

Yep as you found out, bigger holes make a deeper sound. If you have some power loss from less back pressure, you can use a large phillips screw driver to get some back. Stick the screw driver in each hole. Then tilt the screw driver toward the front of the baffle as far as it'll go. Bending an indent that protrudes into the inner pipe at the front of each hole.

edit to add: this works better if the holes are staggered or farther apart.
