Default Stupid taillight!!!

so after riding abut 500 miles this weekend on my way into the office I notice my right rear taillight/brake light was loose. So I tried to tighten it up and the threads inside the tail light housing are stripped.. have no idea how it happened but now its time to fix it.. should I just get an OEM housing from Harley or is there an aftermarket one? been searching but not sure if some of the ones I found on the net will work... any help guys??? Harley wants 60 bucks for the housing?

I might just say screw it and get these, http://www.jpcycles.com/product/306-966 but intil then I cant ride the bike because the bolt will back out and hit the tire...

On mine, the housing is chromed plastic with a metal tab at the bottom for the nut to set in. You can try some epoxy, will hold up until you need to remove the housing.

I've gone through more than a few of the aftermarkets ones, they are all cheap plastic and I ride on rough roads so they tend to give in easily.

I was almost gonna do that but I cant even get the threads to bite, so I dont think it would be tight.. I think my signal would be bouncing all over the place. Im really thinking about just getting the LED strip that goes under the fender and saying to heck with the turn signals!!!!

I believe I'd get the housing from Harley, and fix it back like stock. I've read where the Tri bar lights are falling off, they just stick on under the fender.
