a totally hopped up bike pollutes less than a car and gets better mileage.
Not even close to true anymore. there are alot of cars getting 40mpg highway these days, not even including the hybrids. and the number of folks out there with gutted cats and overly rich bikes is considerable. unless your riding something tiny that gets great gass mileage ( ninja 250, 70mpg) the only real pollution advantage we have is i can lane split in CA. so im not stuck in traffic ever.
heck just look at the hate folks here have for water cooled systems. heaven forbid the bike runs cooler and thus more efficiently.
heck a bmw 5series diesel gets 40mpg on the highway. and it weighs 5x more than my fatbob.
