I have the fp 2 on one bike and the powervision on the other. I prefer the powervision, but I'm not familiar with the new fp 3

I went with FP3 main reason is right now I don't plan on doing any more than stage 1 and from the looks of it the PV will potentially need a windows based computer to do certain things which is a problem since all I have is a Mac. Should be here Thursday

I have the PV on my 07 FXDB and just installed a FP3 on a 2014 FXDB. Both are easy install, both can be removed from bike, both get married to bike, PV has own screen, FP3 uses iPhone and blue tooth, FP3 setup and down load map is simple, PV from FM came with custom map, both worked perfect on first fire up, both have basic autotune, both can be adjusted on screen, both can display gauges, PV is more versatile (additional autotune add on, connects to PC for user to manipulate and configure tune, data logging feature), FP3 connects to V&H for techs to adjust tune via phone.

I would still buy PV for myself, but I can honestly say the FP3 is quite slick.

I use neither. given a choice I would go with PV. It is proven, the FP3 is new.

I have the PV here and love it. And you do not need a computer to use it however using the computer to adjust map's etc is easier because of the size of the computer's screen is all. What i really like about the PV is you can store 6 different maps on it. In my case i have 3 i use 1 is for long haul rides where i want great MPG. 2 is spirited riding where i am most the time and finally #3 Is ***** to the wall damn the MPG i wanna just SMILE !!!

You can store several maps on the FP3 as well, not sure of the total amount though. you can switch and load as well. Like I said in my previous post, the PF3 is comparable, but not quite as versatile.

You can connect the iPad to the PF3 to have a bigger screen to manipulate the map, but the PV and WinPV allows you to play with more settings in your map.

I have the Power Vision-2 on my Switchback, and really like it. I like having the gauges on the unit after programing the ECM. You can pretty much monitor all the things going on with your engine.

Power Vision is hands down the better tuner, but if your budget is tight and you are sure you won't go past Stage-1, the FP3 will probably be OK.

Look at Fuel Moto's Stage-1 special. PV ($499) and Fuel Moto Stage-1 A/C(+$52). Includes additional handlebar mount, Visor, and doubles the mfg. warrantee. Plus lifetime maps and technical support.

Give them a call, they are straight shooters and sell both products.

Yes i agree you really will want a handlebar mount if you plan on using the gauges and it sure is helpful i thought for using the autotune feature as well.
