Seems like I read in another thread that the FP3 is "married" to your bike and thus can't be used on any other bike. Not so with the PV. Can anyone confirm this? I personally would rather have one that can be used on any bike in case I trade in for a new one.

Both get married to the VIN, however, the PV can be relicensed for $199...I don't believe you can do anything about the FP3 being married...looks like it's for life...

I installed FP3 on my 2014 Dyna after I did Stage 1 Screaming Eagle intake and exhaust. Mainly because $300 and I didn't know much about tuning. It is easy to use Bluetooth IPad feature and "auto tuning for dummies". I'm happy with it. Bikes runs cooler, more responsive, no decal popping.
Now that I know more about tuning I would recommend PV. It has more features for advanced tuning. But you better know what you're doing. I'm not positive but PV Autotune may be an extra $.
Both are married to your VIN.

I noticed this post in Ignition/Tuner/ECM/Fuel Injection Dyna Room forum. You might want to ask V&H about it before placing order.

Bike is a 2017 SGS with V&H hi-output slip ons and Harley heavy breather intake.
From V&H: There is bug within this version. It is currently being fixed and will be in the next update

I will be ordering the PV very soon. Rode with a buddy last weekend that just installed a FP3 he hadn't had any time to do anything other than flash tune.
