They were advertised in the latest Hot Bike as well. I don't know a lot about how the suspension works but they sound good on paper anyway. Pros of this design versus whatever comes stock?
I run these in my bagger and they rock. Barely any front end dive on hard braking, and much improved performance. I love mine. It feels very firm and sporty.

I used 5oz's of fork oil which is used to lubricate the mono tube cartridge. I assume the Dyna version is the same. The cartridge needs lubrication.
I don;t see a designation for a Dyna on their site. http://www.progressivesuspension.com...9/monotube-kit
I have them in my Low Rider, softail version, stock length, for about 3 years now. I've been very happy with them. keeps the front wheel firmly on the ground over bumps and pot holes. I screwed around with springs, spacers, different weight oil and adjusting oil fill. Got tired of fiddling with it so went with these. They are great out of the box. They aren't adjustable for your weight.
I think you will get similar results with Ricor Intiminators or Racetech gold valves, and some decent springs, for about the same price.
Edit - oops, looks like the dyna version is adjustable.
