Well, never thought age would catch up with me, but the Road Glide had to go. Too much for the old arthritic legs. Picked up a Low Rider today. I am a happy camper now that I am back in control. Going to take a while to get used to it, but so far I'm in heaven. Haven't been on a Dyna since the early 80s. A little different than my old '80 Wide Glide.

Welcome sir. Came over one year ago from a Road King Custom. Different kind of fun on the Dyna. Lots of expertise on this forum for whatever you are looking to do on the Low Rider to personalize. Enjoy!

Welcome, enjoy the ride ... You picked a nice ride! It seems that we usually hear of most moving from the dynas to touring bikes, it's nice to see someone coming back after all these years!

I think I'll keep the handle. Seems like I have had it forever. Been on the big road sofas since my '85 Electra Glide. Only had my last Dyna for 4 years. Before that I had a '57 FL. Have the FXR also, but that still needs quite a bit of attention, not many miles, but many years of neglect.

people really think the big touring and bagger bikes are for older people, but they don't realize how heavy they really are and can't move them around at slow on no speed. great for comfort but that's it. like walking a ton of bricks on two wheels.
