Hey guys I'm trying to learn all I can before heading to a dealer. I'm 6'8" and have a 36" inseam Anyone close to that on a street bob? I know forward controls will be a need for me but aside for that how's the fit?
I'm 6'4" and feel that my street bob just fits me with the harley forward controls. At times I would even like a little more room on it. I have rode everything else in their line up with different bars and foot controls and I feel the street bob has the most room.
Mine has forwards and I fit just right. I think you're going to still fee a little cramped. The good news is, it's easy to fix.
There are a few seats that move you back a little. The stock seat sucks anyway, so you may as well look at a longer reach version.
C&C makes one, and the Roland Sands Design seats for the Dyna will provide a little more room.
Also, knight industries makes foot pegs that give you 1" or 2" extension. I think Kuryakyn makes a forward control setup that's moved forward.
6'7'' and some change with a 38'' inseam. I have these forward's and they are fine for me. I also have 16'' apes and a bare bones that sets you a bit further back on the bike. You will be fine.
i'm 6'7" and have a 14 Bob with forwards ant a tallboy seat and i still feel cramped on the bike. was looking into the Kuryakyn 3" extensions but have yet to find them in black. if that doesn't work i don't know what i will do
Get the Street Bob.
Go with Forward Controls first.
Ride it and you'll know if you personally need extensions.
Contrary to what another poster said, there is the same room
on a Wide Glide as a Street Bob if the SB has forwards.
I had a '10 Wide Glide till just a couple months ago. I know how
much room they have.
I have also had a Street Bob since '07.
Matter of fact; an '07, '11 and a '14 now.
Best bike Harley makes.
By the way, I'm only 6'3"
