Fat Bob: Adjustable Back Rest and Saddlebags
I am looking to get some advice on this setup.
I have a 2009 Fat Bob and I want to get the Adjustable Passenger side plates I have only found them on the HD site and they are Detachable only. Are there other adjustable ones out there?
I also want to get some sort of saddlebags. I don't see my need to have them coming off often if at all.
So my confusion is in mounting both of these.
HD recommends using their Detachable Docking hardware kit for the Sideplate, would that interfere with the mounting hardware of the saddlebags?
I am sure I may have to relocate the rear turn signals for the saddlebags but I guess I will cross that bridge when I get there...
Does anyone have this sort of setup that they can give me some pointers in?
Thanks!

I mounted the bags with threaded rod and they only come off when I clean the bike. Works fine with the detach docking hardware and no need to move the turn signals.
Here's some info about the threaded rod mod.
