What's up Dyna - super stoked on all the content you guys have here on HDForums, time spent here makes my workday go FAST ;-) like the title says, I purchased my SB at the beginning of April and have been having a blast despite all the rain we've been having in northwest Pennsylvania... I came from the rice burner scene and am glad that I'm riding an HD now.
I haven't done too much, XIEDs, VandH Comp Series 2:1, Figure Engineering A/C, 14" Burly conversion with Burly cables, and a 2" DK tank raise. Definitely some inspiring rides here!
Thanks for all the info and I look forward to continuing on my HD journey here!
Congrats and welcome to the dyna family! Nice looking scoot u got there ! I just recently ordered the burly 14 narrow glides did u do the install yourself? And I thought the stock cables were long enough for the bars, were they not?
Thanks! Thankfully I did so a couple days ago, still didn't come off that easily though!
Appreciate all the welcomes, seems like a good group of people here.
As far as the cables and apes are concerned - I looked pretty extensively on here and got kinda mixed reviews on using stock cables. Some said you could, others that some would need to be replaced/rerouted. I know ramhunter made it work but honestly I'm not really into the stretched cable look, so I opted to get a new ones. Everyones on a budget, but I assume just do it right the first time!
