Well the local dealership called late this afternoon that the parts came in. It makes the big city dealer look bad when they cannot get the parts to me overnight on the bus and the local dealer got the parts in from the warehouse a couple thousand miles away first.
Anyway I really like the sound not too loud has a nice deep tone to it. I see they make the bike shake more. I just started it up for a bit after the install and I see the bars and such shake quite a bit more now. I put that up to the factory system is rubber mounted so it will flex with the motor where as the V&H pipes are mounted solid to the frame. This takes away from the engine being rubber mounted and now the pipes are trying to hold it firm. I actually seen a post on a guy that was taking off his short shots and found the mount was cracked in half. Something to keep an eye on for us with this system. Anyway here are a couple of quick cell phone pics that show the pipes and that rack bag I picked up.
Are you sure its actually mounted to the frame? My dad has a Low Rider with the V&H Big Shots on it that I installed and its not mounted to the frame in any way. Can't imagine a major company like V&H to make such a mistake in their bracket design

I didn't say that correctly. The mount is bolted to the transmission which is part of the engine not the frame. It still causes an increase in vibration though. It is not a crazy increase but I noticed it right away. Probably why the stock system is rubber mounted. I am guessing the solid mount changes the frequency of the engine's vibration or something. They have specialists to figure that stuff out. Either way don't take it as alarming. I just noticed it after the change over. I took the bike out for a ride today finally and on the road there is no noticeable change, only when it is parked and idling.
If they do, I might have to consider selling mine and buying one.
Same here. Seems HD would have to use the 110. All I ask in addition is that it be given better suspension (say 2 more inches front and rear), relocate the ignition, give an accurate fuel gauge, and do something with the brake pedal.
the only thing goood thatwould come out of a cvo LR would be a 110 motor other then that theyd cover everything there was in chrome, and not give a **** about your suspension

And even the engine is questionable. Last I saw it had a whooping 4 peak horsepower over the 103. Doubt most would even know the difference if they weren't told which was which...except that I've read a lot of complaints about the heat off the bigger engine. I totally agree with your assessment of the CVOs. Plenty of splashy paint jobs and gaudy accents, but devoid of anything that makes them more useful when they aren't on their pedestal.

I have heard and read plenty about the 110 and the heat it produces. If all HD was offer some pimped out, blinged out, Low Rider that was nothing but fancy paint and chrome, I would pass.

Nothing that an aftermarket exhaust, tune, and oil cooler could not fix, I'd dig a 110 in a Low Rider, that would be fun!!
