2014 Low Rider
110 motor with oil cooler
Better suspension (Progressive shocks and forks w/ 2 more inches front and rear)
Relocate the ignition
Accurate fuel gauge
Fix brake pedal
What we would likely get is a standard LR with fancy paint and lots of chrome.
110 motor with oil cooler - not a great power increase so not really a good idea.
But this is the direction HD seems to be heading with non-touring CVO bikes. Take for example the 2016 110 Soft Tails that were just announced. CVOs should be packing more than the 103. How really sweet would it be if HD used the 120 motor? Now that would be something.
Better suspension (Progressive shocks and forks w/ 2 more inches front and rear) - probably stop it being called a Low Rider if they did as likely increase in height
I would gladly take 2 more inches of seat height for better suspension. The LRs used by the HD Stunt Team are not running stock shocks and forks.
The LR seems to be real popular with those coming from a sportbike background. Why not offer better performance? Hell, HD just upgraded the suspension on the Sportsters.
Relocate the ignition - to where? I actually like it and can't see a better place. Thoughts?
I would like it relocated to the tank. Mount the speedo and tach on the handlebars.
Accurate fuel gauge - its a Harley "feature". Yet to have one that's accurate

How much more expensive would it really be to go with an accurate digital fuel gauge? This is a small issue that HD could easily remedy.
Fix brake pedal - bizarre, but since changing my boots to a Harley branded one the pedal is OK. However - Yes it needs addressing.
It would be really nice if HD offered a performance oriented LR. Also, may as well put the HD 1/4 fairing on it.
Bottomline is to create our own CVO's, which if you think about it is what we all do anyway. The MoCo will make mega $$$ out of CVO versions as well as add-ons we all hanker after. As individuals we all create our own Custom Vehicle Option version and if like me we go a bit darker with the look before deciding on the final paint job.
You are right about that. We all have been doing our own CVO work.
We have both had Metric bikes - in my case Japanese and Italian (still dream about my Aprilia RSV1000R) however Harley is Harley.
Now you have me thinking ....... perhaps I should buy a Triumph

I think with Harley we have a BRAND and we buy it for what it is and then customise. The MoCo gives us a canvas (albeit expensive) and we do our thing.

Performance Engine Torque 2014/15 model 98.8 ft-lb 2016 Model 102 ft-lb
$200 uplift but more power and only 1mpg increase on factory figure fuel consumption. However, my favourite since release is: New 2-into-1 exhaust with a deep rumble
Don't see a need to change my 2014

edit: Just noticed the High Output is not available on the UK model.

2. I really want a Triumph. I have never owned more than one bike at a time but I am seriously considering adding a Street Triple R to my garage.
3, My LR is my first HD. I enjoy it very much. If HD ever offers a CVO LR that is a performance bike, I would buy one. I would not fall for something that is nothing more than fancy paint and chrome.
