Here is my Low Rider after Stage 1. It certainly woke up the engine and the sound is amazing (albeit a bit too loud, so I may look into getting quiet baffles). Fuel map may need some tweaking, but l need to do few more miles before I start changing anything.
Hopefully will have time this weekend to do flush mount fuel gauge and cap and sissy bar

Love the look of the doubles Iceman! I am sooo torn as to what pipes to put on but right now I think the finalists are:
V&H Big Radius 2>1 black
V&H Super Radius
SE night stick slipon black w/black shields
I will make a decision on that on this week along with what air cleaner to add. Thus far I have done some cosmetic things and added a removable sissy and luggage rack that I got on e-bay. Oh BTW if you do the removable sissy bar kit you WILL need a turn signal relocation kit as well as the mounting kit.
I have had the bike now for 5 weeks and have ~1600Mi on it and I have to say I am addicted to riding this thing! I had mine in for the 1K service a couple of weeks ago and they were going to do the switch recall but upon pickup they said that they could not do it for some reason. My guess is that they figured out with my bike that they didn't have the correct tools as mentioned earlier in the thread.
All and any suggestion about the exhaust (i.e. 2>1 vs 2>2) are welcome and congrats to all new FXDL owners in the thread.
Got my 2014 Lowrider a few weeks ago. Went ahead and ordered the V&H 2 into 1 slip on, and it just didn't work for me. Was only a slight difference from the stock, at least to me anyway. Went ahead and ordered the Big Radius short shots staggered black. Put them on and then bought a stage one kit from the classifieds here. All that on and oh yeah, there's the sound I was looking for! Off to the local Harley dealership for the Dyno right now, can't wait to get'r back! I'll post pics when she's home.

Have any of the LR adjusted their bars to fit them better? Have not heard much about it. Looking at all the great pics being posted by LR owners is really stoking the fires.

I adjust my a couple times and it is super easy! So nice to be able to adjust and ride until you get them perfect.
mantis - if you're after max performance then go for 2>1. For me it was finding the balance between the looks, sound and performance. I love the look of Short Shots, but they're far from great performance wise and too loud. Bassani makes some nice 2>1, but I was concerned about fitment on the Low Rider. Big Shots were a good compromise. Plus adding Fuelpak FP3 is supposed to make tuning easy (at least at Stage 1 level)... although so far I've got somewhat mixed feelings about the FP3.

It's dead easy - a couple of screws. So far I tried mine in two extreme positions - as close to me as possible and pushed away. I think I prefer the former, but it's been only few hundred miles.

BTW mantis, how difficult was it to install the sissy bar? I'm planning to put on one piece detachable sissy bar, docking kit and turn signal relocation kit this weekend, but instructions indicate that it may be a bit more complex than I originally expected. Did you have to cut off and rewire turn signals?
did my stage one this morning. SE nightstick, fuel moto stage 1 air cleaner and power vision with fuel moto tune. it was pretty simple. i did the install before work before it got to hot.
Anyway the bike feels great after the stage one, big difference. I like the sound of the nightstick ( i have only ridden it around town for a test ride) I was actually wanting something not too loud. All the bikes i have had in the past have been loud
fri morning im headed to sturgis so i will put the bike to the test for sure. I only have 700 miles on the bike but had the dealership do the 1000 service yesterday before the trip
