I guess I will find out soon enough. I still have not received anything in the mail from HD about it but I plan on calling my dealer and swinging by sometime next week if they have the replacement ignition.

Brother, you are doing the right thing. All of us with these black bastards are going to feel cheated here in a few months...

I made an appointment for next Tuesday to have my 10K mile service(I'm at 10010 miles)and get the recall done to make sure they have all the parts needed so I don't have to bring it back in later.

BTW, I haven't received anything in the mail abut this recall from MOCO.

I hope they get it right the first time...

Does anyone have the license plate relocation kit on theirs yet? If so how do you like it? I'm talking about the one that hands off the left turn signal.

Your bike is a 2014 correct? There was an ignition switch recall for 2014 FXDL'S back in july of 2014. I had my ignition replaced back in november of 2015 under the recall. Im pretty sure I posted it in this thread.

Mine buzzed off and cracked while on the dyno. Even though it was a 2015 they replaced it under the 2014 campaign.

I've been delaying my findings on my tank being wrapped with vinyl to see how it would holdup. So far it's been pretty durable.

I've riden in storms the last two days with no issues as well as enduring a small gasoline spill.

As far as installation goes, it wasn't as bad as most make it out to be. I did it myself, but having another person help with tha heat gun would be helpful. Also, get the named brand wrap and forget the cheaper options. The cheaper stuff is basically just a vinyl sticker and does not stick as well as the good stuff. The good stuff is also much easier to work with.

I feel this is much easier way to change your tins verses paint. Plus it will usually look better for those too impatient to do a good paint job like myself.

Below is the best pic I have currently, but if anyone wants more detailed shots, let me know.
