Yes because they go up enough to clear the dashboard whereas adjusting the stock risers can't pullback as far while still clearing.

Thanks for getting back with me man! Did you have enough play with the stock cables or did you need to get new cables?

Nothing new, happy Friday. Trying to get out of work early so I can go get some new meat on the back...scorcher is scorched, you could say...

Mine too! My wife said mine were delivered a few hours ago. I'm doing tires, brake pads and forks over the weekend. That doesn't leave much time for riding though.

Just heard from the dealer. I have a "electrical" issue that they are working on diagnosing. I suspected it was more than a bad battery. Started having starting issues a year ago. Took it to dealer, who checked it, and said all was good. I reminded the service manager, who knows me well, of our conversation from last April or May and he recalled it. Said it appears I have an electrical gremlin. Said they will find and fix it. Bike still under warranty.
