A lot of LR owners did put on extended controls. You should have no problem finding a set. The stock mid-controls fit me perfectly so I kept mine. I sold the stock AC and exhaust. Stock AC sold quick. Took year to unload the stock exhuast.
Appreciate that! I'm waiting on a PM offer from some takeoffs a forum member has offered me. Hopefully it works out. If not, anyone else with OEM 14+ LR mid control takeoffs that want to make a sale, just PM me.
You are the first to voice a dislike of the red color. We all have different color tastes. I think it looks great. Good contrast with the black pieces and the silver chrome.
I am not sure any purple LR owner ever posted in this thread. I like that color too.
I also think the red looks great. I would have preferred red but got a screaming deal on the vivid black because the dealer had 3 of them to sell at the end of the season.
Sooner or later, I'll probably custom paint my tins red metallica of some kind and leave the frame black.
Even though my bike is kind of red (candy clear coat), I'm not a big fan of the Harley red either. I believe if the tank logo and pin stripe had of been black, it would have looked much better.
