This sucks man! I'm not sure yo saw my thread last thursday But I took of from work to ride (actually to ride test ride a few different bikes) and my LR wouldn't start. Had it towed and when they were checking it in they found the issue. I forgot to hook the fuel like back up to the tank. I was gonna remove the tank to run the PV2 wire, but decided to run under speedo/tach console and forgot to plug fuel line back in LOL.
Serves me right for thinking of getting rid of the LR
Picked up my bike from the dealer. Battery was covered under warranty and believed to be the problem. Not sure why this was not figured out or discovered last year when I twice brought up the issue to the dealer.
Got my new tires. Same as came on the bike. Total bill was a tad under $600. Seems a bit high to me. Service manager said I got an $78 discount, which means it was originally closer to $700.
On tires you save a lot of money by removing the wheels from the bike yourself. Then you just take the wheels and new tires to cyclegear, indie shop or any brand bike dealer.
You can also buy the tires online at a cheaper price and just about anywhere will mount them up.
Most places charge $20-50 per tire to mount and balance.
