For contrast, My local dealership (which isn’t reputed for their charity) installs tires for free if you buy them from them. You pay for the tube and rim band, if applicable.
I might be wrong, but I don't think anyone was disputing what you paid. But interesting to see it printed. Next time you might consider some alternatives if you don't mind saving money
I posted the bill to see if anyone here sees anything inflated or out-of-line.
I would consider alternatives for my next tires for sure. I remember seeing a few threads about what dealers charged for the 1K, 5K, and 10K services. What I paid was less than many others paid. Up and until the tires, my dealers prices seemed reasonable.

Ya the price on the tires was about what they are online, its just the labor killed you.
Is $200 worth removing the wheels yourself at home? Up to you. Although that might have included the mount & balance too.
I change my tires in my garage myself last weekend. It's a worthy skill to learn and not really that hard after you do it a few times. Sure the first time is very frustrating, but it gets better each time. After I have the wheel off, I can have the new tire mounted in around 10 to 15 mins at a casual pace.

I wish I was like many of the LR owners in this thread who do their own work. Guys saving lots of money doing their own work. My mechanical skills are limited. Have never changed a motorcycle tire in 38 years of owning them. I have none of the tools needed to do it. I do not even have a lift or jack. Next time, I will call a few other places and see what they charge. My dealer sort of lulled me into a false sense of fair pricing as all my services have been reasonable (compared to what many others have posted).

Support your local indy - I'll never take my bike to the dealer for a tire change again, after seeing how much they gouged me on my old bike. They kinda had me by the neck, was stuck in their parking lot with a flat...for the rear Commander I just had installed I paid $260 out the door (tire, labor, disposal, sales tax). Had them do all the work, but when I do the front I'll take the wheel off myself and bring it along with a new tire to just have it mounted and balanced.
Anyways, it was a good weekend out here, too good to not put some miles down. Visited the old man, got to see him take my littlest sister out on his bike for her first ride which was cool to see.
New Years ride. Fun day, got to really stretch the legs out and put the 103 thru it's paces...
Dude. I know this is a couple months late, and really really random but that curb/street looks crazy familiar and I saw you're in OC; is that Speed King Steve's house?
