Was planning on getting a christmas day ride in with the wife but christmas eve she was side swiped by a hit and run driver. We were going to have my parents drive that vehicle since it fit the kids and gifts while we rode the bike. Had to cancel.
I did take the bike out for a few minutes to warm it up and put gas in it. It cut off on me pulling in the station, I'm hoping maybe I just bumped the run switch reaching for the turn signal and killed it. I coasted to the pump and filled it up (it was not empty), started back up fine and let it idle a few minutes before riding back to the house. I'll do a longer ride soon (hopefully) and make sure its running ok.

I have had that (bumping the run switch) happen twice in the time I have had my bike (going on 7 years). Hope that is all it is.

Thanks I hope thats all it was. Weather has been strange here 70 degrees all last week back to cold this week with a wicked storm that came through last night/today. 3+ inches of rain with 40-50mph wind gusts then dumped 3 inches of snow then the sun came out and melted it all away. All of that in 24 hours

That is some damn weird weather. Winter has officially come where I live. Will be a few months before I am riding again.
That's no fun, I will get some sporadic days in here and there, north carolina always throws us some warm days mixed in the winter time. The weather can't ever make up its mind here.
Yeah it's finally official here on long Island. Thursday night the snow came with 7"... Not to mention the cold.. But shoulder Surgery is the real stopper.. Hopefully by June I'll be back on the bikes..
