I also ordered one of these, not for a Dyna do to my custom setup. I was also skeptical because of the close to $250 price tag, but have to say it look great when I opened the box. No mid-match edges, great hardware and quality glass work. As soon as I get everything wired up and installed I will post pics.
Sweet , you finally got a fairing ... Make sure I get to see it when it's done .. Send me a message or something so I don't miss the thread
i have a usa trailer stores fairing on my switchback
Looks good...wonder if it would fit a regular Dyna? I don't see a listing but looks like the ones listed are the same size fairing with just different mounting brackets.
Apparently, west coast trailer store seems to be the same people & sell "B-stock" fairing auctions (blemished, chipped gel coat, etc) would work well for me because I'm in college in collision tech this semester. http://www.ebay.com/itm/B-STOCK-Harl...954724&vxp=mtr
I want to see what these look like with stock sized headlight & mid glide trees. I would like to keep my headlight in sig pic if it doesn't look stupid. I plan to make the fairing a quick detach.
Also, 4 - 5 1/4" speakers vs 2 - 6x9's. Which is better? any vids of stereo? do I need an amp or is a head unit usually powerful enough?
Has anyone else got the us trailer batwing? pics? First off, the touring version of this setup like you have linked is wider at the mounting point then the softail version, and both are going to be way wider then the mid-glide setup. Also, the small light is over powered by the wing. IMO, unless you make some two major changes to start with, this won't work as you would want it to. You need wider trees and a larger lamp.
I have the softail version of this wing, I also have Fat Bob trees, used a passing lamp bar and Kuryakyn turn sig relocation brackets and a 7" light. I think the 5.25" speakers look better then the 6x9's, but that's just me, mine are powered by just an Alpine head unit. I did a 5000 mile trip with the wing, zero issues with it, I ride with earplugs and sound was clearer with them then it was without them. I will try and get some pics in here so you can see both headlamps in the fairing and how I have it mounted.

I appreciate it & didn't think about the actual fairing size being different. So I guess i should go with one of these, but the quality doesn't seem as good as the us trailer models.
BlueAngel: I know this sounds like a lot, I hope it's not too much. Can you take a few more shots of the fairing? I'm thinking one of the side so we can see the profile, a couple with you on the bike from different angles (and give us your height) and a couple of the inside of the fairing from the cockpit.
Just trying to get a good sense for what this will look like.

Thanks in advance.
Here are two of me on the bike.I'll try and get some more and post them when I can. I am 5'7". Stock Street Bob bars. You can see how much the 7" light improves the look of the bike along with the turn sigs relocated to the light bar.
just got my fairing last weekend down in Ocean City bike fest. Got it from reckless motors was a little pricey but with installation was free but speakers really rock.
