my measurements and math tell me that there's not enough room with the 1 1/8" belt (06 Street Bob)... and going to a 1" belt only leaves 0.088" between tire and belt.
little bit different situation for me here because I'm using a 14 Street Glide 5.00 x 16 rim with the cush hub... only feel comfortable spacing the pulley 1/8" because of the rubber spider and the wheel must run dead center!... guessing between that (spacing the pulley) and squeezing the tire down a bit on the 5.00 rim 7.91" tire width actually as measured on a 5.50" rim, so guessing the final belt to tire clearance to be about 0.300 something? would be great seeing that once the tire is mounted I don't need to space the pulley at all. 200/65-16 Bridgestone exedra max radial... the belt is running 1/4" from the pulley flange up front now... so looks like 1/4" over is all you can go and also keep the wheel centered...

200/50/18 metz and 18x5.5 rim. Stock spacers. No other changes needed. My wheels were built by Ride Wright so othsr results may vary. Make sure the hub is stock width and centered in the rim and you will not need to mess with the pulley. I have no clearance issues and my rear fender is lowered and no rub even with air shocks fully dumped.
Yes you can run it, just be aware that you might have to do something about your turn signal wiring as it might rub. I run 11.5" shocks and have no dramas but I have removed the wiring from the problem area
