Default Clutch Housing
What size Snap Ring Pliers do I need to get snap ring out of clutch housing? The couple of plier sets I own are completely insufficient.

I just replaced my clutch cable last week and used these with no problem.http://www.sears.com/craftsman-profe...1&blockType=G1

Good luck. My Harbor Freight set failed miserably for that job. Then I bought the set that Crex39 posted and it was a night and day difference.

Hey bro! How ya been?! I have the Harbor Freight and they've been working fine for me. Actually just used then tonight to install a new set of levers on the bike...

Get the Channel Lock heavy duty snap ring plier.

I've been good but working too much. I may have gotten a defective one from HF, who knows?

OP: did you get that job done?

Default Harbor Freight
H. Freight is never my first choice. They work, I'm sure if I spent a grip at Snap On Snap Rings would probably be failing in my lap instead of across the shop. Never to be see again. 7$ for cheap set that gets it done +10$ for package of snap rings. So when the first 10 rings fly away eventually 1 will go on! Bottom line got the pins back to wear they go. Now i need to know if this is a sign of potential failure some where in clutch? The blueing at both ends doesn't seem right.
