This is way cool.. I've messed with polyurethane in cast for but not as a liquid.. Years ago, a place I worked used the stuff as a potting compound for sonar transducers.. Back then 3 or 4 on the workers / engineers had cancer issues.. I suspect it was from the solvent used at the time but I've always been a little leery of messing with the wet stuff.. One thing you can do to get a better bond and less bubbles in the cast material is to throw the units into a vacuum chamber.. for 15 to 30 minutes before the baking..

As others have said there is some concern about sheer forces with bond.. I've seen Glide Pro bushings separate from the metal base.. Still the core design of the mounts themselves will still keep them functioning if thet do separate.. The canted angle of the front mount keeps the motor from moving too far forward with is a feature lacking in the Vibra-Technics dyna mount. I suspect they might start tearing rear motor mounts as a result.

IMO the rear mount is the hardest to stabilize from lateral forces which can cause a higher HP dyna to wobble just like a bagger. I'm working on a rear mount that utilizes polyurethane tubes to allow floating for vibration isolation but Teflon surfaces to control lateral movement of the mount.. While I've managed get rid of most of the higher speed handing issues on my FXDX through other means but I still get a little bit of a bobble when tossed hard into a corner..

I'd be interested in how it performs after a few several thousand miles - if it does what you expect it to, you may want to pitch it to HD

My 2cts... good experiment... now buy a new front mount and install it. Like others have said in so many words, your playing with variables you don't have a clue about. Don't want to read down the line, that they turned loose and took you over a steep edge.

BAH on all the nay sayers.....Should work just fine...it would be similar to a solid mounted motor, but does have at least SOME vibration control. It will definitely tighten up your handling.
