I ordered a set of DK Custom Products SGS Bear Trap footpegs Wednesday. Got them today(Saturday) and wow. They got to me faster than I expected. Was thinking at least Monday. I think they match up with my bike pretty good. I only got a 20 or so mile ride with them and still need to adjust them a little but man, they have some bite to them. No feet feeling like they are slipping or blowing off the pegs anymore. They were easy to set the tension on as long as you take your time. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
With a few more miles you're going to see how much more comfortable this type peg is than the traditional round pegs...lots of flexibility it where to place your feet...yeah, and they won't slip off.
Well, so far so good. I still haven't got to get out for very long with them yet. I did go put fuel in the bike Sunday before the rain. A guy asked why would I put bicycle pedals on my bike. I told him the reserve on my fuel tank didn't work and I run out of gas a lot and was easier to pedal it to the store than push it. He said "Oh, thats a good idea".
