You need to go with forward controls so it doesn't melt yer damn right boot. For the Uneducated, LAF stands for LoudAs F**k. No opinion here, just a known fact - no baffles will give you a flat spot. I use Torque Cones in the head pipes to kill the flat spot. RIDE FREE, RIDE PROUD.

Thanks for the info. It's actually refreshing to get info from someone with ACTUAL experience.

Bocefus, your quite the "aggressive" poster ha! Just like he said, forwards so it's not right at your foot, and some sort of torque cone or baffle. I know, straight pipes, some say are fine, some say bad for bike blah blah. But a pipe that short, I'd add some sort of back pressure for sure.

I had those exact pipes on my wide glide for one day. They are definitely LAF looked awesome but, way to loud for me. You will need forward controls to run them

LAF's do work with a dyna. I have them on my 07 fxd. To get the oil dipstick out you just loosen the back pipe a little.
