I finally saved up enough pennies, and got myself an RSD Clarity air cleaner. Now I'm stuck with the next step...I didn't think far enough ahead to get a fuel programmer. Any suggestions on which one to go with? Second, after installing both, do I need to have it run through Dyno tuning, or can I handle it at home? I'm trying to do it on the cheap, but mostly wanna learn how to work the old gal myself. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I believe the perceived wisdom is, if you ONLY replace the air cleaner OR the pipes, you don't necessarily need a tuner as you still have restrictions in the airflow.
If you have done both A/C and pipes, then you really need a tuner and/or a dyno.
Most of the tuners on the market allow you to download a "canned" map to the bike which should work well and avoid the need for a dyno. Some of them also offer auto tune functionality which lets you dial the canned map in better.
If you really want the bike to run as well as it can, you probably still want a dyno tune.
