Default Oil change

hi, I plan to do an oil and filter change on my 2011 fxdb, she's done 6500 miles and I've just received my K&N filter and 4ltr's of Motul 7100, 20/50 synthetic oil(THEY WANT AN ARM AND A LEG FOR HD ORIGINAL **** IN UK),have checked websites and appears these should be good for the job. Motul site states oil meets Harley spec ?
Any opinions?

I would imagine if it s fully synthetic and meets HD specs it will be fine. In the UK I use Silkolene Vtwin fully synthetic.

No problem...normally you can reuse the rubber O-ring, but @ 6.5K miles yours is probably due a change. Another option is Teflon thread tape, if you can't find the right size ring.
