argh. that does suck. I'm in Australia so can't be of much help as to where you should head locally...surely there's plenty of decent shops that could do the work in Cali though? The parts would be cheaper than they are here too.
What you may want to consider are Footboards. I suggest you sit on a Switchback and see if you like that option. It is the easiest solution you will find for a different position. I had both Forward and Mid pegs on my Wideglide and the Footboards are far superior to either of those for me.
Perki
Tried floor boards but did not like them.
Still hoping some member of the forum can help.
Thanks,
Roger
OK Roger, but if you are referring to the footboards that many just bolt to their foot peg brackets that is a completely different thing. If that is the case I still think you should check out the Switchbacks footboards............I hope you find what works for you.
Need some one to convert from Foward to mid controls

Perki, thanks for the advise.
I need something almost in the same position as the mid pegs. Floorboards are to forward
for me
As I said in my original post, I made a mistake and should have ordered mid controls.
Still hoping some member can help and refer me to some one who can convert.
