Has anyone with a fatbob successfully switched from forward controls to mid controls? If so, I could use a parts list and general idea of cost. Too much back/neck pain. In addition to not feeling very stable at low speeds. I think mid controls with highway pegs might solve my problem.

I would like to change from mid controls to forwards and was thinking if you'd like to swap i'd be interesed. My dyna is a 09 fxd with less than 3000 miles so the controls are in like new condition. If interesed let me know
thanks

John,
From the sound of it, I'll need an inner and outer primary to make it work. Possibly an exhaust shield. I'm new to riding and don't know my way around the mechanics of the bike. I'd have to find out if your mids will switch right over to my bike and what else I would still need to purchase. Right now I'm just looking to find out how involved it is, if I can make it work, the cost, and if I might be able to handle the job myself. I'm handy around an automobile, but I know nothing when it comes to bikes.
