This is very..... different. Looks like it should have flat-track bars on it. I agree, a smaller seat would help the appearance. Don't care for the red on the cylinders at all. It would look really good with the cylinders back to crome (or even black), and some red accents on the airbox cover instead.
I can appreciate that ownership is an individual experience, and I respect his right to decide how to adorn his bike, but I can't seem to stop looking at it with the eye to try to fix it cosmetically...
WhenI first got the bikeI drove through a freeway construction zone where they used lye to quick cure cement. Messed up all kinds of stuff including front of motor and Thunderheader. Even ate holes in helmet plastic face plate...WORKING ON SEAT...
Love your bike bro. I just picked up a new superglide and I'm looking forward to some obnoxious mods(Loud V&H sideshots= no baffles). Its all about the ball peen hammers and brass knuckles. I think I'm going to figure out a way to take off the horn and replace it with a nice loop to fit the hammer. Keep up the good work. If you bring that beast to Vegas I'd be proud to ride with ya.
I think it's great!! I'd love to hack mine up if I had the skill to do it, oh, and the wife wouldnt beat me with the brass knuckles!! To me, something looks off about the rear, but it's your thing man. Good Job!!!
I've been thinking that same thing myself, but I've got flat track bars on mine.If you lost the windshield and went with a simple motocross or flat track bar it would go a long way toward cleaning up the overall look of the bike.Like allot of others have said though it's your bike and it looks like your going to do what you want with it.I do appreciate seeing somebody do something with a bob besides taller apes and an exhaust system.
