I love it man. I'm looking at getting the dualguages myself. I need a tach! Could you post a pic from the front of bike? Doesn't look like your guages stick up as much as my speedo. If they would have offered the sport when I bought mine that's what I would have bought. I thought about lowering mine as well, but I ride pretty hard in the twisties and don't want to start dragging parts. Another guy just posted about dragging his primary after putting 11" shocks on his super glide. You haven't had that problem?
I've got a T-sport. Haven't considered lowering it, I love the way it handles now. Would rather have the tank-mounted speedo, I could live without a tach, and it would help reduce the unsightly wiring mess when I remove the fairing/windshield.
The bike came stock with the gauges .You can get them in the H-D wish book.I used the Arlen-Ness lowering kit, they lower it 1 inch.No problem with grinding motor parts.
Ziggy, I have an 06 Street Bob(11" shocks) and would have bought an 06 Sport if there had been such a thing- the new 6 speed tranny, 49 mm forks and stiffer frame all make it a great ride. To get a little closer to the Sport suspension I've installed Progressive 440 shocks on the rear and a RaceTech cartidge emulator and progressive springs up front. Sweet ride- less front end dip when braking, better handling in the corners, much better ride with the 440's when 2 up.
You've got an amazing Harley- one of the best in my book. Good riding. Jay
