Guess I should have loaded the primary pics first since that comes before the trans guts. Got the race back on with patience, the old race (Mascman), and a big socket. Slowly tapping around and around on the socket. Plan to go for a ride late tonight or tomorrow and see how she does. Took her down the street and seemed ok once I got the cutch adjusting screw set back right. Wish I wouldn't have messed with that. The nut moved while I had it off, so it set me back a little.

Feels good to do it yourself and save a ton of money!
When my mainshaft bearing went and I had to do this job myself, I thought it would be worse than it was.
Glad I did it though and you will be too...its a good feeling to know that you can handle these jobs for future repairs.
I feel bad for a guy who would have to pay a shop to do something like this!

My luck when I fix something, I screw something else up that's worse. I love working on bikes, I grew up on trucks. It def feels good not to have to take it somewhere. I have always tried to do and learn as much as I can so I don't have to rely on other people to do stuff for me. Yea I was going to put the race in my powder oven if I had to much trouble, but it wasn't terrible. Nothing like riding again that's for damn sure.
