I have run with the fuelpak, and without the fuelpak, the bike will run hotter but get better gas mileage, without, that is harder on the engine overall, but if it has o2 sensors that will help some, you could go to the vance and hines web sight and check the seting for your setup, even though your emissions could be different in your area a different setting could help overall.

Thanks for all the replies, there seems to be some consensus that it needs to stay.

Is it possible to get a wiring loom extension for the FP so that I can relocate it? My biggest problem is cramming all the stuff under the seat.

I've never understood why anyone would ditch the O2 sensors.....makes absolutely no sense to me at all.

Because if you're tuned then you don't need them.

I've just been to have a look at my exhaust and there are no O2 sensors although there are fittings where it looks like they would go. There are blanking plugs screwed into them. I've had it from new so they were never there.

Is this significant? Am I better off with or without O2 sensors?
