I just bought my first Harley 3 months ago. I purchased a 2009 Iron 883. After riding for a while, I decided that I wanted something bigger. Especially since my girlfriend ended up loving to ride so I needed something that was a little better for riding 2 up. I just traded the Iron in for a 2014 Street Bob and could not be more happy with it. I got a pillion seat thrown in with the deal and am looking to purchase a back rest for her as well. Then I plan on getting some slip ons and possibly some saddlebags.
Congrats! Great looking bob! Mine looked like that once give it a few days before transformations start. Lol

Congrats, looks great! You are going to want to add some rear pegs too...go ahead and spoil her.
Thanks everyone. I got the pillion seat today and passenger pegs on today. She loves riding the new bike. Can anyone recommend a good back rest? I can't decide if I want the rigid mount or quick detach. I had a quick detach on my Iron and never took it off. Are the back rests pretty easy to install as well?

I have the Bowman rigid mount, and can recommend it. Easy to install (though it's a lot easier if you have a bike lift or scissor jack - the long bolts for the rear mount point need to clear the rear tire). Takes an hour or so to add/remove if you're careful (read obsessive!) like me.
My pillion is fussy and says it's really comfortable, even without any padding...
It can carry a ton of sh*t but needs a fair bit of planning to make it the load stable (and not rubbing on paint etc). One of those removable sissy bar/rack combos would be easier some days...!
