Hello looking to power commander site I see for Dyna 07 only maps with O2 ELIMINATOR! is it true?? I have my street bob with RB RACING LSR 2-1 BLCK HOLE and SE air filter but if I want a PC III I can't have it cause there is no map for this configuration??
Tks
Gabriele
Yes, the powercommander runs the O2 eliminators for your model, I'm not sure if that's what you're asking...
You can contact dynojet to get a map that will run really close to your set up, or you can go to a tuning center and have a custom map made. So, yes, you can use the powercommander for your bike.
The PCIII is an open loop fuel management system, not using the O2 sensors to tune the system based on A/F input to the sensors. If you purchase the correct PCIII, it comes with O2 eliminators. You unplug the stock wiring harness from the sensors, and "cap" them with the O2 eliminators. Others are correct in that you can put the bike on a dyno and the person doing the tuning can either tweak the map you loaded, or if not close enough, create a full custom map. I have run the PCIII on past bikes and it works ok, but am installing the Datona Twin Tec system which is closed loop and uses the O2 sensors to constantly monitor and adjust the fuel delivery. You cantune this initiallythis off a laptop and the system "learns" as you ride the bike, making adjustments based on the initial prameters you have enterred. I believe I will be able to get a beter tune, and eliminate any problems with pinging due to the HP build I have done.
I looked up that fuel moto site, and they seem like the way to go.., the dealer where i get my work done, it's not at a harley dealer, but he has harley certified mechanics and they don't bull **** you and sugar coat everything, they know what the hell they are doing, and they are real bikers, anyway. He wanted to sell me a PCIII for 350 then put the bike on the dyno for a few hours to make a map to my bikes specs. This fuelmoto company will pre program the tuner for under 300. now that's the way to go. IMO
TKS EVERYBODY,
what I mean is "I want a closed loop" cause I'vebought a great exhaust system with O2 sensor ... soI don't have to buy a "standard" PC III butI need or a custom map or THUNDER MAX or SERT or Twin Tec system
tks again
Gabriele

If the $350 included the PCIII AND a full dyno run with a custom map, IMO, it would be worth the price.

I agree, much less than my local dyno guy would do it for. He charges 150 for the map and 350 for the PCIII. I might have to look into this myself.
So lets just say you do decide to go with a pcIII on a07 BOB, could i use a set of pipes from a previous yr???? if so what pipes fit??? or should i say what pipes are compatable other than the O2 sensors??
