Very stoked, Python Throwbacks arrived today for the Street Bob. Just started to paint the wrap black to go with the bike. Stupidly, I realized after the first coat that I should have test fit, whoops, these better fit! I hope to install on Tuesday if work time allows
Wrapping exhaust system pipes and bleed air lines was common in aviation...I always hated having to do anything that required unwrapping or replacing those damn lines...do them in chrome or black, but wrapping just looks like an unfinished project to me...something temporary or meant to be covered up.

I kind of felt that way myself at first. I kept going back and forth between various pipes, chrome and black, long and short... Didn't even think of wrapped nor liked the looks thinking same as you, unfinished. Then a friend mentioned it to me again and I started to look into these pipes, the more images of them I saw the more I liked them. It's definitely a little more retro but I think the large chrome ends give them a little class.
When I first got this bike after having a 48 my wife told me that this one looked "boring" (she really liked the looks of the previous one), I think this is the best of both worlds!
