I had spent most of the year reading and debating which direction to go with the headlight on my SB. For me it came down to an ebay special or the Daymaker. I always had this gut feeling that if I didn't at least try the Daymaker I would be wanting more out of whatever I got. A quick google search provided a trusted HD site that offers the Daymaker for $320 shipped. That was the deciding point for me. After my first night ride I wish I would have pulled the trigger months ago. The money saved from that site allowed me to upgrade my tail light to an LED plug and play from JP Cycles.
Since my upgrade I have seen the "Sunpie" ebay brand in person. There is no argument that it is better than stock but I am personally happy I followed my gut spent the extra on a Daymaker.

Hey Dragginboards, I had a 2003 pearl white Fatboy and I like how you set yours up. Can you post a few other pics showing off your bike? I miss my Fatboy!
On my LR I originally went with a Cibie 5 3/4 ecode headlight, an Osram bulb and a heqdlight relay harness (to move the power load directly to the battery). This worked great and the light pattern was really fantastic.
I decided I wanted to ride more in the winter and acquired a bunch of heated gear and began to worry about the load to the electrical system (maybe over thinking but who knows?). I moved over to the daymakers and other LEDs on the bike which cut the load in half.
The pattern of the Cibies light was better but the color with the Daymaker seems to make up for it. (the headlight relay is still there barely, that headlight is huge in back)
