How many
My first minibike was an old 5 hp Rupp, pull the rope and off you go. Moved up to a yz 80 and rode that while my dad was buildin' a Bultaco 250 for me. That got stolen out of his buddies back yard, we still think he sold it, the B**TURD. Dad then bought an old 3 wheeler with a fiberglass body, that thing flew. He darned near killed himself on it and Mom said it had to go.Spent 8 years in the Marines outta high school andpretty much gave up ridin' until 2005. That's when I bought mySuper Glide. Wasn't on a big bike for 23 years and I rode my baby home, followin' my best friend, with the biggest sheet eatin' grin on my face. That is one ride I will never forget. It took me 42 years to getmy first Harley and I guantee it will not be my last
first HD is 2005. I told my wife I was planning my mid life crisis up front so there wouldn't be any surprises. Got my first one for my 40th birthday.
I've been riding bikes on and off most of my life. Last bike was a Suzuki GS850 that was my primary transportation for several years. That was in the 80's when I was young, dumb, and full of.... well, you know. Before that was mostly dirt bikes.

Hey thrillseeker ... I had a GS850 ... spent a year on it in and around Melbourne, Australia ... great bike ... in about 84. Grew up on road bikes in NZ, rode for about 15 years then had a 10 year break till last year ... hadn't really considered a bike in the UK till I moved to the South West where its sunny (well sunnier) and not too busy on the roads.
I rode Route66 for my 40th last year and loved the Harley I rented (05 lowrider), mate came with me on a sportster ... ouch. I loved the bike and am now a very happy first time Harley owner ... yes its a SB ... I wanted a Dyna and am v happy with it ... 1300miles in first three weeks.

Im 23 and my 07 wideglide is my first Harley and first bike. Love it. The only downside of this being my first bike is being spoiled, since Ive started out with one of the best, I'd be dissapointed with most every other bike afterwards.
For years I rode a 1981 CB750K. Last June, at 42, I bought my first HD ('06 Wide Glide). I gave the Honda to a buddy who was light on his dough and hadn't owned a functioning bike in a long, long time. Now he and I, and another pal who rides an '06 Street Glide are enjoying some awesome rides. The CB750K was a reliable bike and was a blast to ride, but there's nothing like my Harley.
I just bought my first harley SB about 2 months ago... I commute on it every day (except when it rains) I live in Socal so it is rare that I am not riding. It's the hum of that V-twin that puts a smile on my face...
Like most here I started on a minibike then a Yamaha DT80 the up to a DT125 then a DT250. No bike while raising my daughter. She's up and out and I'm on a real bike for the first time
Never owned a bike until last September when I bought my Superglide....Hell never even rode a bike before that. After 3 days in the class and several nerve wrecking weeks cruising back rodes and my neighborhood streets I think Ive found something that will stick with me for life
