Well,.... after much debate inside my head I sold my 06 Superglide that I spent the last year making her my unique bike. After riding 1300 miles last week on my Dyna I just had to have a bagger. While the Dyna is a great all around bike its just not a long haul tourer in my honest opinion,... especially for 2 up riding. It was tuff to sell my first Harley, but the club that im in makes several long rides during the year and I guess I just had to think about long haul comfort. Now,.... the tuff part is deciding on which tourer.
If you debate inside your head a lot, would that make you a mass-debater? OK bad joke... but good luck choosing a new bike. That is always a lot of fun. What model are you tending toward?
could of just turned your glide into a tourbike for the travel part and still have your local bike to. 2 in 1 dyna. could of save alot of cash, and the wife loves it when traveling. total cost $150.00 and then take the rest of the cashthat you saved from buying the tourbike and bought another bike instead
Man John, I'm sorry for calling you Jim that time, you really don't have to leave your Dyna family. Good luck with your new scoot, whatever you decide on. I hope you enjoy it but I'm bettin' on that you'll miss that Glide, right Geezer? I mean John. Timmer
